Nunc is an organization founded by violinist/violist Miranda Cuckson.

Nunc will be in residence at Williams College, Massachusetts from April 17-19, 2016. In addition to instrumental masterclasses and composition readings, a public concert will be held on April 19, which will include two works by Williams faculty Ileana Perez-Velasquez – a new work for violin and ensemble and as a recent work for bassoon and ensemble – as well as two works by Shulamit Ran, who will be present Inscriptions and her new work Birkat Haderekh, which was premiered last summer at the Tanglewood Festival. Also on the program: a Piano Trio by Jay Schwartz and Three Intermezzi by Ton That Tiet.

Nunc est un ensemble spécialisé dans la musique contemporaine, fondé par Miranda Cuckson.

L’ensemble sera en résidence au Willliams College, dans le Massachussets, du 16 au 19 avril 2016. La résidence comprendra des master classes ainsi que des lectures de nouvelles oeuvres, et se terminera par un concert le 19 avril. Parmi les pièces jouées, les 3 Intermezzi de Tôn Thât Tiêt.

Le Trio Goldberg joue Tôn Thât Tiêt @ La Folle Journée de Nantes

Le 5 et 6 février 2016, Et la rivière chante l’éternité de Tôn Thât Tiêt sera au programme de deux concerts par le Trio Goldberg lors du festival La Folle Journée de Nantes. Le trio interprètera également le Trio à cordes ‘Le Chimay’ d’Eugène Ysaÿe.
Ces deux concerts seront l’occasion d’une conférence sur la musique de Tôn Thât Tiêt animée par le musicien, chef d’orchestre, musicologue et conférencier André Peyreigne.

Et la rivière chante l’éternité, a piece for string trio will be performed by the Goldberg Trio during the music festival La Folle Journée de Nantes, in France. Now on its 22nd edition, the theme of the festival this year will be Nature.
The Goldberg Trio will give two concerts, on February 5 & 6, 2016, at the Cité des congrès de Nantes, with a lecture by French music historian, conductor and lecturer André Peyreigne.
The Goldberg Trio are: Lisa Kerob (violin), Cyrille Mercier (viola) and Thierry Amadi (cello)

Contes de Grand Mère

April 16-17 2015: Premiere of Les Contes de Grand Mère, three Vietnamese folk tales written by Tâm Qùy with music composed by Ton That Tiet.
Performers are Isabelle Thomas (speaker), Jacques Bonvallet (violin), Jean Horeau (guitar) and Jean François Piette (percussion)

The premiere will take place at the Salle Musicatreize in Marseille.

Contes de Grand Mere

 

Création des Contes de Grand Mère, pour récitant; violon; guitare et percussion. Ton That Tiet a mis en musique trois contes vietnamiens écrit par son épouse Tâm Qùy. Les représentations auront lieu à la Salle Musicatreize à Marseille.
